The classified conclusion of Project Sign that UAPs were "interplanetary." General Vandenberg rejected and ordered it destroyed. Surviving references appear in declassified Blue Book documents. The original is still classified.
Condon Report — Scientific Study of UFOs (1968)
The University of Colorado study commissioned by the USAF to justify closing Project Blue Book. Led by Edward Condon. Concluded further study was unwarranted — but 30% of cases reviewed remained unexplained.
Project Blue Book — Kecksburg Incident File (1965)
Official Project Blue Book records detailing the military response to the Kecksburg crash. Confirms that Captain Maurand and a search team from the 662nd Radar Squadron were dispatched at 8:00 PM to search the site, officially claiming "nothing was found."

Flying Saucers Over Belgian Congo Uranium Mines (1952)
A translated Vienna Die Presse newspaper account, reported by CIA as Report No. 00-W-23602, describing two fiery discs pursued by a fighter pilot over the Shinkolobwe uranium-mining district that supplied roughly two-thirds of the Manhattan Project's fissile material. Marked "unevaluated information"; declassified and released in 1978.

Project Condign — Unidentified Aerial Phenomena in the UK Air Defence Region
The Defence Intelligence Staff's four-volume, ~460-page classified study of roughly 10,000 UAP reports, commissioned in 1996 and completed in December 2000. Concluded UAP existence was "indisputable" but attributed the bulk of unexplained reports to poorly understood "buoyant plasma" atmospheric phenomena.
